Good to know
What counts towards the minimum wage: all elements subject to AHV/AVS (allowances, bonuses, regular benefits in kind). What does not count: supplements for night or Sunday work, overtime, and for staff paid by the hour, holiday and public-holiday pay, which are added on top of the minimum.
Exceptions: apprentices, internships forming part of a training programme with an agreement, and certain other situations provided for by law. If your sector is covered by a collective labour agreement (CCT), its minimum applies if it is higher.
